One has the best chance in the Masai Mara to sight the Big 5 in their natural habitat. Masai Mara National Reserve will thrill you with its abundance in wildlife concentration. The savanna plains are filled with zebras, gnus, antelopes, gazelles and herds of elephants. During the Great migration the vast plains are dotted with massive herds of wildebeests, zebras and other plains game as they continuously move to the fresh grasslands. The highlight of this 3 days Masai Mara safari is Mara river crossing as the herds of wildebeests and zebras cross the crocodile infested Mara river, some getting stuck in the rocks, others struggling in the stampedes and others being drowned by the crocodiles. This is always an emotional moment but part of the process of natures’ cycle. Serengeti National Park in Tanzania forms the lower part of the Masai Mara Reserve. Ngorongoro is another big highlight of this safari and a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater is a must. After Lake Manyara the Safari will then bring you back to Kenya at the foot of Mt.
